Welcome Back!

I hope everyone had a great holiday break! We have a long semester ahead of us so it is important for students to be motivated to do well. Today we are looking back at the year that was 2008 with lots of current events, pictures, videos, etc. from a number of news websites.

Final Exam

Child Labor: Industrial Revolution

Assignment: You will be looking at the problems with child labor during the Industrial Revolution. Using the category “Life in the Factory”, you will be making a PowerPoint on the problems for the laborers.

This week we will start on the Industrial Revolution, which is Chapter 9. We will be looking at the causes and effects that it has on society today. Wednesday we are scheduled to be in the computer lab for a couple of great websites on child labor in England during the Industrial Revolution.
