Chapter 4

Students started in on Chapter 4 this week which continues to discuss European exploration, the Aztec & Incan Empires, colonies, and the Columbian Exchange.

We will have a quiz over section 1 coming this Friday.

You will be making a PowerPoint over the daily life of the Aztecs. The website has plenty of information that will help you get a better feel for the Aztec way of life. Your PowerPoint needs to be at least 10 slides with at least 8 pictures.

CSA Test Today

We are having our CSA #1 test today in class. Student have received study guides and were assigned to do an outline over their question.

I will be late to conferences tonight due to a JV tennis meet at Central. Mr. Davis, out student teacher, will be there to answer any questions. Have a great day!

Assignment for Thursday

Student have been making "Haiku's" in class for Mr. Davis in the computer lab. Those are due tomorrow in class.

Looking ahead, the Chapter 3 test will be on Tuesday, Sept. 20th.

Update with World Civ

Overall, students are working very hard and are doing a great job of participating in class. There is no homework assignment for students today. We started talking about exploration and discovery and how it pertains to the Renaissance way of life.
