Computer Lab Assignment
Today we are going to look into child labor during the Industrial Revolution. The stories all take place in England and depict the ugly seen of life in the factories. You will go to this website to look at the issues of the Industrial Revolution. Here is your assignment:
You are either a factory owner or a laborer. Write an letter to a newspaper either:
Justifying working conditions (OWNER) OR
Complaining of working conditions (LABORER)
Letters should:
*State and support the position that you take.
*Rebut other viewpoints (meaning if you are writing as an owner you should argue against the complaints of the children).
